Text – The text data type restricts the use of characters to
255. This data type allows the use of numbers letters and symbols so this can
be used for things like postcode and address.
Memo – This data type is used for things like reviews
because memo isn’t limited to a certain amount of words or characters.
Number – This data type can only be used to enter
numbers.
Date/Time – this can only be used to enter a time or date.
Currency – This data type puts a currency symbol in front of
the numbers in the record for example £45.00.
Autonumber – Every time a new record is added to the table
this data type adds a number on
Yes/No – This would be a question such as do you want an
email reminder sent to you? They are restricted to only one of two answers.
